My Eat & Nourish Journey was 6 months long (Shed Solution). I liked that it was enough time to learn and start my weigh loss journey. I knew it was going to take time to see results, but I knew realistically this journey was going to help me change my lifestyle and allow me to implement positive energy into my family.
​
Throughout my journey, I learned how to portion different food groups, read food labels, decrease my sugar intake, increase my water intake, and stay active. I now am able to consciously make food decisions and know how foods will either set me back or help with my weight loss journey. Along my journey, I was also able to accept the fact that it was going to take time to achieve my goals, but staying consistent is what would help me see results.

At the end of my journey, my hemorrhoid issues completely went away and I was able to lose weight and not gain any weight. I lost almost 20 lbs. even as I cared for my newborn baby and preschool aged child.

I would highly recommend everyone learns about healthy eating habits. There are multiple diets out there that don't really help long term. Learning about your body and learning what changes you can do as an individual in every day life is better than doing crash diets. There aren't any foods we should completely take out--- it's all about balance and portions.

My Eat & Nourish journey was 6 weeks long (Quick Shed Solution). For me, 4 weeks of support was the perfect length for my program.

This journey taught me about the importance of balancing my meals and to look at food as health for my body. For example, before I would have said tortillas were bad because they are carbs, but now I know carbs are good and tortillas have nutritional value. Another example is, I used to say that if I take tequila shots instead of beer or wine then I am being healthy because they have less calories, but now I know that regardless of the calories, your body can only digest a certain amount of alcohol. I also learned about the importance of incorporating veggies in ALL of my family's meals. Before, I would have only incorporated them at dinner time.

I accomplished my goals of drinking 1-2 alcoholic beverages during social events and I joined core power yoga so that I can accomplish my goal
of working out 3x per week.

I would recommend Eat & Nourish to anyone that is trying to learn to eat nutritional food rather than sticking to old habits. Working with Cenida weekly was amazing and I loved it! I really enjoyed discussing what I ate in a day and what I could have chosen to improve the balancing of my meals. I also really enjoyed the flexibility to my schedule, workout examples that she provided at the beginning of the program, and the meal examples that she provided at the end of the program! I feel that now that the program is over, I have the knowledge to continue to eat nutritional food that is good for my body
as well as to continue working out.
